Phil Wickenhauser Phil Wickenhauser has been involved for years in the housing construction business. He started working for his family’s construction company when he was in his early teens. He learned ever aspect of constructing a new home. The Wickenhauser name has been around the Alton/Godfrey area for many generations and has always been associated with quality construction. Prior to joining together with Bob Emmons, Phil was owner of Wickenhauser Construction, which built many fine homes in the Godfrey area. Phil has developed Riverwoods, Briarwick Estates, and Eagle Pointe.
Bob Emmons Bob Emmons has been involved in development for many years in our area as well. Bob started working for Sheppard, Morgan and Schwaab Engineers (SMS) in Alton in 1969. During his 10 years there he worked on many of the existing subdivisions in the Alton/Godfrey area. After leaving SMS, Bob started buying and developing property of his own in the area. Prior to joining together with Phil Wickenhauser, Bob was owner of Country Home Builders, which built many fine homes in the Godfrey area. Subdivisions developed are Arrow-wood Country Estates, Country Cove Estates, Heritage Gardens, Estates at Eagle Ridge, and Estates at Summerfield.
Amy Cress Amy Cress joined the company in 2000 to manage the construction office. She previously worked for Bank of America in St. Louis for 10 years. Amy held a variety of positions such as Personal Banker, Data Processing Programmer, Human Resources Trainer and Commercial Loan Training Manager. Throughout this time she helped with the new home sales for Country Home Builders.
